There's a reason why it was set in Washington. Stephanie Meyer was not kidding nor was she exaggerating when she described the weather here in our lovely state. It really is that cloudy, foggy, and rainy. Any vampire would be proud to call it home. And why stop with vampire books? A lot of writers could capitalize on the weather here. For instance, Marion Zimmer Bradley could do a sequel: The Mists of Lynnwood. I'm sure it would be fascinating. I'd read it.
I miss snow.
